This site does not ask for, collect or sell personal information.
The sign-up form
If you use the form on the home page, the site keeps what you typed: your email, and your name and message if you gave them, with the time and your IP address. It is used only to send you the park notes you asked for and to answer you. It is never sold or shared. Reply to any note to be removed.
No accounts, no tracking cookies
There is nothing else to sign up for. The site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising or analytics scripts.
Server logs
Like every website, the server records each request: address requested, time, IP address and browser type. Logs are used only to keep the site running and secure, and are deleted on rotation.
Browser storage
The site may store a small preference in your own browser, such as whether you have closed the sign-up prompt. It never leaves your device.
Fonts and embedded content
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to serve them. Links to outside sites are governed by those sites' own policies.

This policy may change at any time. The current version is always at this address.
